Over a 30-year career, ROG’s founder Rowan O'Grady, has worked exclusively in the recruitment and staffing industry, holding senior leadership roles across Europe and North America.
This includes 25 years with the world’s largest specialist recruitment firm, Hays, where he served as President for Canada and the United States, followed by executive leadership of a high-growth specialist cloud technology recruitment business in the U.S.
Today, that experience is applied independently — supporting recruitment businesses across multiple countries with impartial guidance, practical insight, and results-led execution.
Rowan O’Grady
Over 30-years Rowan has worked exclusively in the recruitment and staffing industry, building and leading high-performing organisations across multiple continents. He spent 25 years with the world’s largest specialist recruitment company, Hays, in Ireland, the UK, Canada and the United States — culminating in 11 years as President of Hays in Canada & the US. Afterward, Rowan led a specialist cloud technology staffing business, Frank Recruitment Group, in the United States for nearly four years.
Since leaving Frank in January 2024, Rowan has leveraged his deep operating experience to support leaders in the recruitment industry as an independent management consultant. Within six months of starting this work, he was engaged by organisations in five countries — helping them navigate growth challenges, operational complexity, and strategic decisions with practical, results-based solutions.
Known for his pragmatic, low-ego approach, Rowan offers senior-level perspective without agenda — helping founders and leadership teams think clearly, make confident decisions, and accelerate performance.
Rowan lives in Toronto, Ontario with his wife Georgina and three teenaged kids.
